Polypropylene (PP) presents a similar appearance to Polyethylene (PE), yet it stands out due to its enhanced transparency and lighter weight. Notably flammable, PP boasts low water absorption and breathability. Its mechanical prowess is evident in its superior tensile and yield strength compared to PE, PS, and ABS. PP excels in resistance to stress cracking and is easily weldable, though care must be taken with its low notch impact strength, avoiding sharp corners and notches in finished products. PP's effective operational temperature spans from +5°C to 50°C.
